felt flowers.

the challenge is up over at
Scrap and Stamp Saturday.
this week we had to use either felt flowers or any other flowers.
i added some paper flowers to my layout but also made little felt flower accents by just cutting felt into circles and sewing around the edges. they may not be real flowers but you get the idea..

the centres of the flowers are made using Claudene's sticky canvas by Ranger and colouring it using a gold acrylic paint dabber. cut the canvas into a small circle freehand and then place it onto a piece of felt and cut around the edges. sew around the edge of the felt using embroidery thread and then assemble your flower. real quick and easy but with loads of texture.

the butterflies are cut from Prima paper and finished off with some bling.

my stamped sentiment is from Crafty Secrets. some red sewing finishes off my layout.
thanks for looking, now head on over to scrap and stamp to see some other great ideas for using flowers. remember you can also win some great prizes by entering your layout into the challenge...but remember to use at least one stamped image on it.

supplies: patterned paper Prima. Flowers Making Memories, Enmarc & Prima. Card stock Core'dinations. Bingo Cards Tattered Angels. Other diamantes, buttons, thread, felt, canvas and paint dabbers.
