someone inspirational.
4:30:00 PMthis week over at
scrap and stamp Saturday
the challenge is to scrap someone inspirational.
i chose my friend Kathi! she is truly inspirational in the way she has overcome many of her own struggles and obstacles in life and continues on her own creative journey with style and grace.
for my lettering i used plain white chipboard. i first inked them in stream acrylic paint dabber that turned out to be too bright for the patterned paper. i then added purple zing embossing powder that turned out to be too bright. i then added another layer of Rose embossing antiquities and that did the trick! i love how they turned out in the end. slightly distressed but the perfect colouring for the layout!
the writing paper is from 7Gypsies. they have some gorgeous sets available with envelopes and tags. i used the sheet as a matt to house my photo.
some buttons and bling adds extra bits of colour. hop on over to the scrap and stamp blog to see some more inspirational layouts and join in the fun!
supplies: card stock American Crafts. Patterned paper Making Memories & 7Gypsies. Tag and stamps by 7Gypsies. Other Lettering, embroidery thread, buttons, diamantes & silk ribbon.
